You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and implementing behavioral therapy techniques to foster positive change. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate treatment plans. Deliver individual and sessions. Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that promote emotional regulation, behavioral improvements, and family cohesion. Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and records, ensuring confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and optimize patient care outcomes. Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment goals, and coping strategies to support ongoing progress. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and professional standards related to patient care, documentation, and confidentiality. Skills Proven experience in behavioral therapy, child & family counseling, or applied behavior analysis within a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation protocols aligned with HIPAA standards. Excellent case management skills with the capacity to coordinate services across multiple providers or agencies. Exceptional communication skills for engaging children, families, and team members effectively. Demonstrated commitment to patient care through compassionate listening, active engagement, and culturally sensitive practices.
