Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide expert psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your primary focus will be delivering evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy to promote mental wellness and resilience. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and utilize telehealth platforms to reach clients in various settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives through direct support and innovative therapeutic approaches. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document client conditions. Deliver individual and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, etc. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and motivation for change. Manage medical documentation with strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate medical records and timely updates. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans for clients with complex needs including autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, PTSD, grief issues, chronic pain, addiction, and gender-related concerns. Apply ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic classification and billing purposes; utilize CPT coding for clinical procedures when applicable. Engage in clinical research or data collection efforts to support evidence-based practices within behavioral health programs. Provide telehealth services with proficiency in virtual platforms to expand access to care across outpatient or inpatient settings. Experience Proven experience working as a licensed therapist in outpatient or inpatient clinical environments. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral management, and social work practices. Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics. Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions and behavioral health treatments. Prior involvement in crisis management scenarios requiring quick decision-making and effective intervention strategies. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with medical records management is preferred. Telehealth experience is highly desirable; ability to adapt counseling techniques for virtual delivery is essential. Join us in providing compassionate mental health care that transforms lives!
