LICENSED SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR

Are you a licensed substance abuse counselor — or working toward your CADTP, CAEDE, or CCAPP license? Jackson-Bibby Awareness Group is hiring for our Redlands DUI education program.
SCHEDULE COVERAGE NEEDED
We are looking for group coverage in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays, and on Saturday mornings. Group sessions are up to 3 hours. On-call coverage for other counselors is also available. Groups are offered both in-person and over Zoom. Online groups are in high demand and you will be required to provide counseling over Zoom.
COMPENSATION
$21-$24 per hour, paid on a per-event basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed or actively completing CE hours toward CADTP, CAEDE, or CCAPP licensure Comfortable facilitating groups in-person and over Zoom Ability to conduct face-to-face intake interviews per Title XI Strong documentation skills per County standards Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate interaction and education groups, beginning and ending on time Conduct face-to-face intake interviews as required Guide participants in identifying and resolving alcohol/drug-related problems Deliver curriculum-based education sessions Monitor sobriety in group and individual sessions Track participant fees, attendance, and program compliance Maintain accurate charts and progress notes per County standards Attend weekly supervisory consultation as required by Title
