Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and guidance to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role involves conducting individual and group counseling sessions, managing patient care, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Counselor will work closely with clients to develop effective treatment plans and provide direct support in a therapeutic environment Monday-Fridays (days and hours nonnegotiable). Start Date August 03, 2026 Responsibilities Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address mental health issues. Provide psychotherapy and grief counseling as needed. Maintain accurate medical records for all clients, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Offer direct support to clients, including those with disabilities, in their journey toward recovery. Implement cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to assist clients in managing their conditions. Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Counseling, 2 years experience in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Valid license or certification as required by state regulations. Experience in mental health counseling, including grief counseling and individual group counseling. Knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy practices. Strong skills in case management and patient care. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
