Job description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. At Destiny Behavioral Health, we specialize in Intensive Outpatient Services serving individuals facing substance abuse and mental health challenges. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, client-centered care that empowers our clients to achieve lasting recovery and emotional well-being. Visit to learn more about us! Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to clients with mental health and substance use challenges. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including case managers, psychiatrists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive client care. Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to ongoing case consultations. Provide psychoeducation groups to clients on topics such as coping strategies, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation. Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health and substance use treatment. Experience Valid California licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment settings. Strong understanding of co-occurring conditions. Interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred but not required).
