As a Primary Therapist, you will lead individual and group therapy sessions, conduct assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ASAM and DSM coding systems to determine client needs and treatment goals Provide evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing tailored to individual client needs Lead individual and group counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and gender issues counseling Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability Collaborate with clients' families and other collateral supports to promote holistic recovery Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations while utilizing medical terminology effectively Participate in clinical research initiatives, data collection efforts, and case management activities to enhance treatment outcomes Requirements Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related field from an accredited institution Valid licensure or certification in relevant disciplines (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT) as required by state regulations Proven experience in behavioral health settings such as outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities; hospital experience preferred Strong knowledge of medical documentation standards Proficiency in telehealth platforms and experience delivering services via telehealth preferred Expertise in working with adults, geriatrics, and individuals with mental health and substance use disorders Skills in crisis intervention, behavior management, social work practices, and patient assessment techniques Ability to handle complex cases involving chronic pain counseling, trauma (including PTSD), substance use disorders, criminal justice and child protection involvement Join us to make a difference by providing compassionate care that transforms lives.
