Job Overview LPC, LCSW, LMHC or Clinical Interns are Encouraged to Apply! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate •Licensed Counselors, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors or Clinical Interns•to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert mental health counseling and support to diverse populations, including individuals, families, and groups. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. As a Licensed Counselor, you will play an integral part in delivering high-quality care within a collaborative environment that values innovation, empathy, and professional growth. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety. Document all clinical encounters accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including case management, social work, and medical professionals, to optimize patient outcomes. Perform diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding systems and maintain detailed medical records for each patient. Facilitate psychoeducational groups focused on topics like addiction counseling, PTSD care, or behavioral health management. Stay current with research developments in mental health counseling and apply innovative approaches to enhance treatment effectiveness. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent credential. Proven experience in psychotherapy, child & family counseling, addiction counseling, and crisis intervention. Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices including applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management. Experience working in hospital settings or home & community care environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations across age groups. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Join us in transforming lives through compassionate care!
