Job Description

Therapist (NV/NORTH BROWARD) Minimum of master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field. Minimum of one year experience working with chronically mentally ill adult population as well as solid knowledge of recovery processes. This is a professional position serving as a clinical member of the participant's care team. Outpatient Therapy provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to adult individuals with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific behavioral health needs of the identified participant as they relate to their diagnosis and can be provided in-office or other approved/appropriate community setting. The therapist may provide other outpatient services, such as psychoeducation, supervision, and case management, which have different procedural standards than outpatient psychotherapy, but for which competent clinical skills and high standards will be used. The Therapist procures the authorizations for treatment and maintains them. Work is performed in a professional mid-paced environment. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice. This is a 100% direct service position that could require the employee to work regular full-time hours 8AM
  • 5PM .
