is located in Indian Harbour Beach, FL. We are agile, professional, supportive and our goal is to provide quality and professional mental health services in the Brevard County area. Incorporated in 2010, Pathways Life Coaching & Support Services, Inc. serves families, children, and individuals in the area. Regardless of what our clients' needs are, we provide individualized, client center therapeutic treatment to enhance and improve our clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of mental health professionals
  • Conduct patient assessments to gather information on mental health history and current symptoms
  • Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Assist with crisis management situations and provide support to patients in distress
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address specific behavioral goals
  • Provide cognitive behavioral therapy interventions to patients as directed by mental health professionals
  • Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment
  • Assist with patient education and teach coping skills to promote self-management
Skills:
  • Strong research skills to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health care
  • Excellent patient care skills, including empathy, active listening, and communication
  • Knowledge of coding systems used in mental health documentation (e.g., ICD-10)
  • Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and interpreting assessment results
  • Experience in behavior management techniques and applied behavior analysis
  • Familiarity with working with patients who experience trauma is preferred
  • Crisis management skills to effectively handle emergency situations
  • Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy principles and techniques
