: The Mobile Crisis Licensed Assessor provides on-call risk assessment screenings to individuals experiencing behavioral health crisis to evaluate risk to self/others and determine the appropriate level of care. If an individual is determined to be at risk to self/others and refuses or is unable to consent to a voluntary examination, the Mobile Crisis Licensed Assessor will initiate an involuntary examination in accordance with applicable laws and agency policies.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
N/AESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Duties and Responsibilities reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all related work assignments that may be inherent to the job. Perform risk assessment screenings to individuals served through the PPBH Mobile Crisis Program. Particular emphasis on level of care and type of services needed to address the current crisis. Be available to assess individuals in need of inpatient treatment when needed. Demonstrate competency in evaluating and documenting the person's risk to self and others and self-neglect due to mental health or substance misuse. Demonstrate familiarity with community resources and provide referrals to these resources when appropriate. Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner according to department policies and procedures. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of DSM-5 nomenclature, as well as the Baker Act and Marchman Act. Report to supervisor any acute or systemic problems. Able to drive to locations within the Program service area. Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.CORE COMPETENCIES
Possess the ability to document the services provided to individuals and maintain medical records in accordance with established governing standards in a timely, legible, accurate and complete manner. Ability to provide crisis intervention and management of aggressive behavior to individuals in a safe, culturally sensitive and trauma informed manner. Ability to recognize, evaluates, gather collateral information and develop interventions to address risk factors related to potential for violence and dangerousness to self or others. Ability to perform Co-Occurring Clinical Assessments and interpret data to formulate a DSM 5 diagnosis as appropriate. Maturity and sensitivity to the special needs of individuals in crisis while possessing the knowledge of behavioral health. Ability to communicate the needs and risk level of individuals being served to appropriate providers and team members.QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Master's Degree in Mental Health field required. Maturity and sensitivity to the special needs of persons with mental health and substance related concerns. Ability to assess needs of persons in crisis. Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direction supervision.COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.REQUIREMENTS
A valid Class E Drivers' License for positions that require driving personal or Agency vehicle on Agency business. Must maintain a minimum Bodily Injury & Property Liability insurance limit of at least $50,000 for positions that require driving personal own vehicle (POV) on Agency business. (Proof Required) PPBH is a 24/7 Agency. All employees must be available as needed when required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Will also be required to physically confront mental health patients in de-escalating situations that could potentially become physically aggressive. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.WORK ENVIRONMENT
