About the Role As a Counselor III, you will serve as a vital first point of contact for individuals seeking help—providing compassionate support, crisis intervention, and mental health first aid during critical moments. You'll conduct assessments, coordinate care, and connect individuals to the services they need to begin their path to recovery. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention and triage to appropriate levels of care
  • Conduct telephonic and in-person assessments and schedule services
  • Ensure accurate intake, documentation, and payer information
  • Build strong relationships with clients and collaborative partners
  • Deliver respectful, client-centered support in every interaction What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
  • Crisis intervention/suicide prevention experience preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, and critical thinking skills
  • Computer proficiency, including typing 27 WPM Why Meridian?
