About the
Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and engaging Group Facilitator to join our adolescent residential behavioral health team. This role is responsible for leading psychoeducational and therapeutic groups, supporting clients throughout the treatment day, and helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for adolescents working toward recovery and emotional wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily psychoeducational, life skills, wellness, and recovery-focused groups for adolescent clients. Encourage participation and foster a positive, therapeutic group environment. Collaborate with the clinical team to support treatment goals and reinforce therapeutic interventions. Document group attendance, participation, and progress in a timely and accurate manner. Assist with program activities, recreational groups, and client engagement initiatives. Maintain professional boundaries and serve as a positive role model for clients. Support a safe and structured milieu while adhering to facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, or similar, required. Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, education, or residential settings preferred. Strong group facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
