ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a full-time Adult Day Program Mental Health Group Leader to provide structured activities, in a supportive and constructive environment, for consumers to help enhance social and living skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify high-risk situations and follow escalation protocols Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe admissions. Provide trauma-informed responses during crisis calls. Create and implement group curricula aligned with treatment plans and program goals, maintain a safe, respectful and therapeutic group environment, encourage participant engagement, peer support and empowerment and provide respectful, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive interactions with clients. Maintain supportive and engaging environment in group activities to encourage client participation and skills acquisition. Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, families and staff about schedules, activities, and progress while ensuring client confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies. Document group attendance, progress notes, DLA-20 assessments, PHQ-9 assessments, Columbia CSSRS assessment, treatment plans per agency policy and in accordance with Medicaid Community Health regulations, maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university. CAP licensure preferred. At least one year of human services experience working with individuals with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid Florida driver's license, auto insurance and own transportation vehicle required. Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
