This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead therapeutic activities, foster a positive environment, and support individuals through their mental health and recovery journeys. As an essential member of our treatment team, you will facilitate group therapy sessions, implement evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to support the well-being and recovery of our clients. This position is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic, supportive setting. Responsibilities Lead group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, art therapy, or mindfulness-based therapy to meet participants' needs. Facilitate discussions and activities that promote emotional expression, social skills development, and behavioral change. Manage crisis situations with professionalism, employing crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure safety of clients and staff. Maintain accurate and quality clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, state and Joint Commission standards Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality and continuity of care Utilize evidence-based interventions while facilitating groups to enhance clients' understanding and growth as well as address any group and behavioral concerns. Qualifications Must have minimum 1 year clinical experience Must have current CPR certification Must have Master's Degree from accredited university Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or social work within outpatient or inpatient settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and working with adults with mental health and substance abuse issues with varying levels of acuity. Experience with application of crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Ability to facilitate group therapy sessions effectively using motivational interviewing and other evidence-based approaches. Knowledge of telehealth platforms and experience delivering services via telehealth is preferred. Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams A passion for working with diverse populations Must pass Level 2 background check, see link for details: https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
