Full Job Description Position Overview:
The clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual and group therapy to clients of Meristem Therapy Services, LLC. We are currently looking for a full-time clinical therapist who: Has experience working with older adolescents, emerging adults, and established adults Who practice from a trauma-centered, harm reduction, and relationally-focused perspective Understand and believe in client self-determination as a key to client growth Approach their work with clients from a both/and framework Are ready to be a part of a dynamic, creative, and collaborative team. Starting salary: fee for service with 60%. Adjustments to compensation may occur at such time as Clinician meets full-time practice status for the preceding quarter and as agreed upon during employment with Meristem Therapy Services. W2 position with expectation of a full-time equivalent being 23 clinical hours (groups count as 1 clinical hour) per week with 28 open hours available provided that such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Meristem Therapy Services Furnished office space and waiting area Time off as needed; schedule based on client and Meristem need No cost onsite clinical supervision and consultation Enhanced reimbursement rates and referrals Billing and credentialing provided Advertising provided Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform (either in-person or virtual) clinical therapy to clients of Meristem Therapy Services, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. We promote in-person sessions for all clients that are physically able to attend. Regular, reliable attendance, excellent communication, and timely arrival to work is required. Be properly licensed in Georgia and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Meristem Therapy Services. Respond to referrals and client requests for services or calls within one business day whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Meristem Therapy Services client portal. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients. Communicate with a client's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary and with proper releases Utilize consultation and supervision as required by license Complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: Intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, mental status exams, and other forms or documents Documentation may be needed or required from time-to-time by Meristem Therapy Services or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the clients within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep client files accurate and up to date. Explain and ensure payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Meristem Therapy Services. Attend mandatory Meristem meetings and trainings as directed by supervisor Conduct and regulate therapy services in a professional manner to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Meristem Therapy Services in the communities that it serves. Be respectful of, cooperative and collaborative with colleagues. Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn. Required Qualifications and Skills:
Align with Meristem Therapy Services mission, vision, and values. Must be punctual in reporting to work. Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in social work or counseling from an accredited program; and Active license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD) in the State of Georgia and provide proof of licensure status and comply with supervision requirements until fully licensed. A copy must be provided to Meristem Therapy Services. Required to maintain a full-time equivalent of 23 clinical hours (groups count as 1 clinical hour) per week with 28 open hours available weekly provided that such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Meristem Therapy Services Be available one evening per week. Evening identified as working until 7 pm. Be focused on creating new opportunities for Meristem Therapy Services. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Be organized and detail oriented. Be a team player and open to receiving feedback. Be able to work independently on tasks assigned. Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a private practice or group practice settings. Experience leading and/or co-leading process groups for non-mandated individuals Seeking opportunities to provide training, community outreach, and community collaborations that enhance the mission of Meristem Therapy Services. Interested in social media work (blogs, email marketing, brief videos, etc.) directly related to Meristem Therapy Services. Have at least one niche market for therapy services (i.e., high school teens, LGBTQ+, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.). Pay:
