We are a specialized trauma therapy practice serving clients in and around Athens, GA to join our dedicated mental health team. In this role, you will provide specialized therapeutic services to individuals experiencing trauma-related challenges, including PTSD, complex trauma and attachment issues, dissociation, anxiety, depression, OCD, etc. This role includes a collaborative and supportive practice culture and ongoing mentoring and training in working with complex trauma clients. Some benefits are also included for therapists who are full time (20+ client hours per week). Clinical supervision is provided for provisionally licensed clinicians. Applicants should either be already trained in EMDR or willing to get trained. Parts work training or training or experience with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model is also helpful. Applicants should also be passionate about ongoing learning and professional development related to working with trauma. Duties Conduct comprehensive intake and clinical assessments to determine needed services Develop case formulation and treatment plan to guide the deliverance of individual therapy sessions employing modalities trauma-focused modalities (i.e. EMDR, IFS, etc.) Provide individual therapy in a private practice, outpatient setting Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology appropriately Provide telehealth services to expand access to trauma-informed care across diverse geographic locations.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential. Provisionally licensed clinicians are welcome with the required experience (LMSW, APC, etc.). 1-2 years of experience working with clients in individual therapy in a clinical setting

Preferred Requirements:
