This program will prepare you to become a fully licensed clinician under direction of our Clinical Training Director, LPC, CPCS. This program will give the Resident experience in working with children, adult individuals, families and/or couples.
Requirements:
Completion of application for provisional licensure (e.g., APC, AMFT or equivalent) and/or receipt of provisional licensure within first 3 months of the training program.
  • Meet all requirements for application for Supervision with a PI Licensed Clinical Supervisor
  • Completion of a CACREP accredited Master's degree program in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
  • Satisfactory completion of at least 300 hours of clinical experience with direct and indirect clinical care including intake assessments, therapy, and treatment planning under supervision.
  • Knowledge and experience in diagnosing mental health conditions, development of treatment plans and applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, etc).
  • Strong knowledge of confidentiality standards, ethical guidelines and state regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and documentation skills.
  • Ability to commit to contracted hours of work for the duration of the program.
  • Must engage in regular supervision and demonstrate openness for feedback

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
