Job Description
Interlinked Counseling and Consulting is a Veteran-Owned counseling practice located near the heart of Conyers, Georgia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team. We are particularly interested in clinicians who have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, relational, and mental health challenges while providing high-quality, evidence-based care. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with flexible scheduling options. Opportunities are available for in-person, telehealth, or hybrid services. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plan updates. Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and other community partners as appropriate. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns. Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing requirements and agency policies. Qualifications and Expectations Active Georgia license required (LPC, APC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, AMFT, Psychologist, or other eligible mental health license). Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults preferred. Minimum of one to two years of clinical counseling experience preferred. Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and developmental stages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality. Experience with trauma-informed care, behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, ADHD, family conflict, or school-related issues is a plus.
