The Counselor provides basic mental health counseling to students and consultation to University administration regarding student mental health issues. This 10-month position (August to May) also conducts intake and crisis assessments, provides individual counseling sessions, serves on the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), and provides educational programs and materials for students as well as faculty and staff. Qualifications include Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; minimum of three years counseling experience (experience with college students and/or young adults strongly preferred).
