We make it easier for families to find reliable care—and for caregivers to choose meaningful, flexible work that fits their availability, skills, and comfort level. What You'll Do As a Respite Care Provider, you'll support children and families in their home, community, or childcare setting. You choose when you work, where you work, and the types of support you feel confident providing.
Support may include:
Assisting with daily routines (meals, bedtime, hygiene, and play) Providing supervision and engaging companionship Supporting learning activities, homework, or developmental play Helping with school pick-ups, appointments, or community outings Assisting during medical or therapy visits Supporting children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, Down syndrome, or physical disabilities Providing behavioral support, which may include children who exhibit challenging behaviors such as aggression, elopement, or self-injurious behavior (SIB) Offering respite breaks for parents and caregivers Who This Role Supports You may work with children who have a wide range of needs, including developmental, behavioral, sensory, medical, or physical support requirements. Your role is to provide safe, patient, and reliable care based on your experience, training, and comfort level.
