Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. In this dynamic position, you will deliver psychotherapy, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing and resilience. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional and mental health challenges, fostering positive outcomes through compassionate, evidence-based care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments, including clinical interviews and medical documentation, to evaluate patient needs and develop tailored treatment strategies. Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Implement crisis intervention techniques to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively and ensure patient safety. Deliver specialized counseling services for children, adolescents, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes; maintain detailed medical records compliant with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, including social work support, behavioral management strategies, and medication coordination when appropriate. Engage in clinical research activities, data collection, and outcome measurement to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to best practices in behavioral health care. Facilitate telehealth sessions to expand access to care while ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards for remote patient services. Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with current certification in good standing. Proven experience delivering psychotherapy across diverse settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or hospital environments. Strong background in working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and Geriatrics populations. Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology related to behavioral health. Experience providing services via telehealth platforms with knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria; experience with medical documentation and electronic health records is essential. Knowledge of special education considerations and working within multidisciplinary teams to support patients' comprehensive needs.
