The Director of Clinical Services is a key member of the Coastal Harbor Leadership Team who is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and directing the programs and activities of patient care. The position has full responsibility for fiscal and staff management and program services for the acute, child and adolescent services, and residential treatment inclusive of school.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage staff and services hospital-wide for social, therapy, and recreation services Understand regulatory requirements of all agencies that review areas of responsibility; maintain areas of responsibility in survey-ready status at all times Plan, develop, and implement new programs or policies that promote the organization both internally and externally; develop and implement a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the clinical program and identify areas for improvement Ensure that all clinical program activities comply with all regulatory standards; ensure that the clinical program operates within the approved budget, including FTE and overtime management Review therapy documentation by Therapists and Recreation Therapists and report data to the Performance Improvement Committee on a regular basis Monitor effectiveness of treatment modalities and implement necessary changes as recommended by the Professional Staff; ensure that all appropriate clinical information is transmitted to referring Physicians and Therapists In collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, interview and hire clinical staff, including Therapists, Recreation Therapists, and Discharge Planner; ensure all clinical staff receives department orientation and other appropriate training Provide direct supervision and coaching of clinical staff, including Therapists, Recreation Therapists, and Discharge Planner assuring all assigned duties are performed properly Benefit Highlights Challenging and rewarding work environment Competitive Compensation & Generous Paid Time Off Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plans 401(K) with company match and discounted stock plan SoFi Student Loan Refinancing Program Career development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ Subsidiaries! Requirements:
