Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in counseling, social work, or any of the helping professions. They will also possess a passion for helping individuals with mental health challenges and providing support in a clinical setting Duties
- Provide emotional support and assistance to clients dealing with mental health and substance abuse challenges
- Complete assessments and treatment plans specific to the clients needs
- Complete clinical documentation according to agency policies and procedures
- Conduct group therapy sessions focusing on various mental health issues
- Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
- Utilize various counseling techniques such as grief counseling, chronic pain counseling, gender issues counseling, trauma informed CBT, and art therapy to support clients
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Skills
- Experience with CBT and other evidence based modalities required
