Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Behavioral Health Specialist, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health support to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including mental status examinations, intake evaluations, and risk assessments to determine appropriate care plans. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's needs. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques for patients experiencing acute behavioral health episodes or emergencies. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, social workers, and case managers—to ensure seamless delivery of mental health services. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and community resources. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
Qualification's:
Active Georgia license LPC, LSW, Ph.D., Psy.

D. Strong clinical skills and ethical Standers Working with children.
