Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Family Support Supervisor, where you will lead and coordinate family-centered services to promote child safety, well-being, and stability. In this vital role, you will oversee a team of family support specialists, ensuring that families receive compassionate, effective assistance through crisis intervention, child welfare advocacy, and collaborative case management. Your leadership will empower families to overcome challenges, strengthen their relationships, and access necessary resources to thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment. Supervise and mentor a team of family support specialists, providing guidance on best practices in child protective services and family law. Coordinate intake assessments and develop individualized family service plans that address each family's unique needs. Lead crisis intervention efforts by managing urgent cases involving child welfare concerns or behavioral health issues. Facilitate communication between families, social service agencies, legal entities, and community partners to ensure comprehensive support. Monitor case progress, ensuring timely documentation and adherence to agency policies and legal requirements. Conduct regular team meetings to review case statuses, share best practices, and promote professional development. Manage conflict resolution within cases or team dynamics with sensitivity and professionalism. Extensive knowledge of child protective services protocols and child welfare systems. Proven experience working with children and families in high-pressure situations requiring crisis management and intervention. Strong understanding of family law, behavioral health issues, and social work principles. Excellent conflict management skills to navigate complex family dynamics effectively. Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary efforts across social services, legal systems, and healthcare providers. Exceptional communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders empathetically and clearly. Ensure the Parents as Teachers (PAT) curriculum is implemented with high fidelity. Reviews monthly billing for accuracy and completeness. Monitors data entry, collection, and client outcomes. Ensure compliance with quality, evaluation, and accreditation requirements. Collaborates with the team to advance overall agency goals. Analyze DAISEY reports to track program outcomes, enrollment trends, and performance benchmarks. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in social work, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related human services field (master's preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in home visiting or family support services. At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
Technical Skills:
Certified or highly experienced in the Parents as Teachers (PAT) model. Proven proficiency in DAISEY for data entry and report generation.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass a comprehensive background check. Preferred Skills Experience with reflective supervision models. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Arabic/French) is a plus. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child abuse prevention strategies.
Pay:
$28.00 - $34.50 per hour
