Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor (Adolescent Residential Clinician)

Job Duties:
Clinical Services & Documentation 1. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, including DSM-5 diagnostic formulation and ASAM-informed considerations where appropriate. 2. Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans that meet Idaho Medicaid medical necessity criteria and include measurable goals, objectives, and interventions. 3. Provide individual, group, and family therapy consistent with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care). 4. Complete all documentation in accordance with Idaho Medicaid requirements, including treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and clinical updates within required timelines. 5. Ensure documentation clearly reflects medical necessity, active treatment, and progress toward treatment goals. Care Coordination & Compliance 1. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to integrated care planning. 2. Coordinate care with families, guardians, case managers, Medicaid providers, schools, and community-based services to support continuity of care. 3. Assist with admission assessments, level-of-care determinations, and discharge planning in alignment with Medicaid criteria. 4. Maintain compliance with all Idaho Medicaid, IDHW Behavioral Health rules (IDAPA), and applicable accreditation standards (e.g., CARF). 5. Support utilization review processes, including documentation for continued stay reviews and authorization requests. Crisis Management & Milieu Support 1. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation using approved, trauma-informed techniques while prioritizing safety. 2. Contribute to maintaining a structured, therapeutic residential milieu that promotes emotional regulation, skill-building, and recovery. 3. Respond to emergencies and high-risk situations in accordance with facility policy and Idaho regulatory standards. Professional Practice 1. Adhere to ethical and professional standards (NASW for LCSW; ACA for LPC) and maintain client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance). 2. Maintain current knowledge of Idaho Medicaid service requirements, documentation standards, and clinical best practices. 3. Participate in clinical supervision, training, and quality improvement activities. 4. Promote a culture of recovery, resilience, and wellness consistent with program philosophy. Job Requirements:
1. Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field. 2. Active LCSW or LPC license in the state of Idaho (required) 3. CPR/First Aid certification.
