Summary of Responsibilities At Headwaters Behavioral Health's Children's Residential Treatment Facility, we deliver compassionate, high-quality care to youth ages 12-17 living with severe and persistent mental illness with our supportive, collaborative team environment. The Admissions Coordinator is a pivotal link between our program and the community partners who help sustain each patient's journey to healing. In this role, you'll apply your clinical judgment and professional expertise to thoughtfully assess each referral, ensuring solution-focused admissions that align with the unique needs of every patient. Success requires exceptional written and verbal communication, patience, and strong critical-thinking skills. Our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility is designed to foster meaningful connections, uphold patient dignity, and empower you to make a lasting, positive impact from your very first day. Qualifications Hold a bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field required. Complies with accepted professional standards and is licensed or license eligible for the state of Idaho, required One (1) year of admission experience, required Three (3) years experience working with adolescents with severe and persistent mental/ behavioral health in an inpatient psychiatric setting highly preferred. Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR. Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and ability to drive various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
