Portneuf Valley Family Center Inc. has an immediate opening for a Professional Therapist / Licensed Mental Health Counselor in our Pocatello, Idaho office. We are a full-service mental health clinic with a collaborative team of clinical professionals including a Psychiatrist, Physician's Assistant, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Therapists, CBRS, and Case Managers . At Portneuf Valley Family Center, we provide individual, couple, and family counseling through both in-person and telehealth services to meet the needs of our growing community. We also proudly participate in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Forgiveness Program , offering: $55,000 loan repayment for a full-time, 2-year commitment , or $30,000 loan repayment for a part-time, 2-year commitment. About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LCPC), or Licensed Master Level Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW) to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families through emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. Supervisory positions are available. You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions , maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes and high-quality client care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based modalities. Monitor client progress, evaluate outcomes, and modify treatment as needed. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other care providers. Participate in case consultations, trainings, and clinical meetings. Deliver both in-person and Telehealth counseling sessions. Qualifications Master's Degree or higher in Counseling, or Social Work. Active State of Idaho Licensure. Experienced counselors, social workers, and new graduates. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices (CBT, DBT, etc.). Proficiency in EHR systems and Telehealth platforms is a plus.
