Mens Extended Care Substance Use Disorder Counselor

The Counselor will provide individual, group, and family counseling to adults in early recovery from Substance Use Disorder in our halfway house program. The counselor will work as a member of a team with ample opportunity for consultation and supervision. Documentation is accomplished through electronic medical records. This position will require working a minimum of one evening a week and one weekend day each week.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. 1 or more year of social service experience. 3 or more years of continuous sobriety. Valid driver's license. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. Possess an active CADC, LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW license. Why Join Hour House?
