We are seeking a dedicated Substance Use Counselor and Clinical Coordinator for Contingency Management (CM) to support adults with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring diagnoses. Position Overview The Substance Use Counselor and Coordinator for Contingency Management delivers evidence-based behavioral health interventions that promote engagement, retention, and positive treatment outcomes. This role manages incentive distribution in compliance with federal and state guidelines, tracks participant progress, and collaborates with treatment teams to integrate CM strategies into individualized care plans. Your Role Serve as the primary coordinator for CM programming. Implement CM interventions that reinforce positive behaviors and recovery goals. Oversee incentive tracking and distribution in compliance with OIG Safe Harbor provisions (42 CFR § 1001.952(hh)). Monitor participant engagement and document progress in the electronic health record (EHR). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align CM strategies with treatment plans. Support program development, staff training, and quality improvement efforts. Core Responsibilities Deliver CM interventions consistent with program protocols and ethical standards. Track, document, and distribute incentives in compliance with regulations. Monitor attendance, engagement, and adherence to treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of CM activities and participant progress. Collaborate with treatment teams to integrate CM strategies into care plans. Identify trends, successes, and barriers related to CM participation. Manage disenrollment processes when necessary. Assist in refining CM procedures for program fidelity and compliance. Participate in staff training and supervision related to CM practices. Ensure ethical handling and secure storage of incentive materials. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge:
Contingency Management principles and behavioral reinforcement strategies. Substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care models. Federal and state regulations, including OIG Safe Harbor guidelines. Documentation standards and confidentiality requirements.
Skills:
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities. Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Data collection, analysis, and outcome reporting. Ethical decision-making and adherence to professional standards.
Abilities:
Engage participants in a supportive and motivational manner. Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Adapt interventions based on feedback and program data. Education & Licensure Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Current credential required: CADC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC. Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred. Experience implementing evidence-based interventions strongly preferred. Salary Bachelor's Degree +
CADC:
$27•29/hour + every other Friday paid off for wellness Graduate Degree +
CADC, LSW, or LPC:
$63,000•65,000/annually + every other Friday paid off for wellness Graduate Degree +
LCSW or LCPC:
