About us Nurturing Village is a family-centered facility where therapists collaborate with parents and guardians to improve the connection and emotional regulation of children. We are dedicated to having highly trained professionals work in a flexible and family friendly work environment. ## Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Child and Family Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals, families, and groups to assist in behavioral and emotional issues. ## Responsibilities
  • Conduct child and family assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy sessions focusing on behavioral/ mental health and parent coaching/ education
  • Collaborate with families, schools, daycares, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain timely and accurate case notes
  • Participate in monthly group consultations with other professional members of the practice ## Requirements
  • License to provide mental health services in IL (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT)
  • Experience working with young children and their families
  • Proficiency in child and family counseling techniques
  • Strong skills in child assessment and crisis intervention
  • Ability to provide effective therapy interventions
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adherence to professional code of ethics for mental health practitioners
