Professional Educator License Social Work Full Job Description School Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor at Private Therapeutic Day School Required (1 of the following):
LCPC LCSW PEL
#181 (formerly Type 73) LSW or LPC with a MSW or MA/MS in Counseling Job Details Full-time salary position with benefits (BC/BS health/dental/life insurance, 401K/Match opportunities, Aflac, PTO, tuition reimbursement) Monday - Friday 8:00AM-3:30PM Academic calendar plus summer school session Provides individual counseling for students in a K-12 private therapeutic day school setting as required by the student's individual education plan. Participate in IEP meetings, writes reports and weekly progress notes. Consult with other service providers as necessary. Help facilitate crisis situations. Program support as necessary. Involvement in programming such as co-facilitation of student club or activity. School hours and school calendar which includes 21 days in summer. Program Overview Private Therapeutic Day School ages K-22 Self-contained classrooms Expressive Therapy (ET) approach offering students Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Recreation Therapy as well as incentive ET clubs such as Performing Arts, Guitar Club, Drum Club, Art Club, Weight Training, Pet Club.
