Full-time; Rotating schedule between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and 12:30 PM-9:30 PM + rotating weekends/holidays Join our team at the Robert Young Center as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)! Under the supervision of the RYC Manager of SUD and a supervising lead, the QMHP provides diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and care coordination for individuals with substance use disorders. This role focuses on developing individualized, patient-centered treatment plans and supporting patients throughout their recovery journey. As part of an integrated team that includes nurses, BHTs, MHPs, LMHPs, OTs, physicians, psychiatrists, APNs, and other healthcare professionals, QMHPs make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families. Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and psychosocial assessments for patients and families. Develop and implement individualized, strengths-based, trauma-informed treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group counseling to support behavioral and emotional health. Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups on mental and behavioral health topics. Coordinate care and collaborate with patients, families, providers, and community agencies to support treatment goals. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Participate in interdisciplinary team activities, including coverage, supervision, on-call support, and department initiatives. Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field License(s)/Certification(s): Current intermediate or temporary licensure in good standing from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation in one of the following: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Must apply for secondary state licensure (Iowa or Illinois, as applicable) within 90 days of hire Must obtain secondary state licensure within 6 months of hire EMDR, RPT, COS, YMHFA, Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, ACEs training) Experience:
Minimum of 6 months experience in community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, or substance use treatment (may include internship/undergraduate experience) Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy across child, adolescent, adult, and family populations Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, or behavioral health conditions Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
