Job Description

Position Purpose:
Provide and monitor continuity of inpatient unit services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of addictions treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field.
  • Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC),or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment in substance used disorder services.
  • Licensed as LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT strongly preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a residential behavioral health residential setting required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport,
  • Computer proficiency required,
  • At least one year of demonstrated supervisory experience,
  • CPR and First Aid training or complete within three months
  • Valid Illinois driver's license

Rosecrance Essential Responsibilities:
1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned. 2. Supervise the assigned treatment team members, which includes assurance they receive orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required. 3. Prepare staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage of unit at all times. 4. Assume responsibility for the physical maintenance of the unit and request necessary repairs or services from leadership or Maintenance Supervisor. 5. Participate in the Performance Improvement and Utilization Review process and serve on committees as directed. 6. Monitor and ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations. 7. Consult with leadership to develop policies, goals, objectives and procedures for the Inpatient Unit. 8. Serve as a member of the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities. 9. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. 10. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. 11. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance. 12. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
