Position:
Provide support, guidance, and leadership to Counseling program staff. Provide consultation and work to ensure a collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-responsive team culture. Ensure agency and program mission and values are central to our work with individuals and families. A Typical Day as a
Behavioral Health Counseling Supervisor:
Assist in the development of clinical staff and interns - providing training, supervision, and support to Counseling program staff. Oversee program services, ensuring best practices and availability of needed activities. Partner with clients and other human services teams to support and heal families in crisis. Network and participate with local funders, as well as community and provider networks and systems. Provide treatment services to clients in proportion to the number of counseling staff supervised. Does the Following Apply to You? Master's degree in Social Work, Human Service, or related field (required) Supervised Clinical Experience (preferred)
Additional Qualifications:
Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting Must be at least 21 years of age Obtain an insured vehicle At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
