Job Description

About us Children & Family Counseling Associates, Inc. is based in Harrodsburg, KY. We also have office locations in Danville, Stanford, Lexington, and Richmond. We provide services in the home, schools, and through tele-health. We are looking for a therapist to join our growing team in Bardstown, KY. We contract with the Nelson County School system and we are prepared to offer a full case-load to an oncoming therapist. Flexible Schedule Full-Case Load On-the-job training Regular social events Growth opportunities Safe work environment Relaxed & fun atmosphere Student Loan Reimbursement Plan This position is responsible for offering guidance to individuals, couples, families, and groups who are dealing with issues that affect their mental health and well-being. We encourage our therapists to approach their work holistically, using a "wellness" model (as opposed to an "illness" one) which highlights and encourages the client's strengths and to work on improving their weaknesses. Therapists can be expected to work in multiple settings, based on the client's needs. The therapist is responsible for maintaining a good communication flow with the client and all of their support programs to help them achieve the best care possible.
Requirements :
Master's Degree in a Counseling related field LPCA/LPCC or
CSW/LCSW
Certification If you are pursuing a Master's Degree in a Counseling related field, we have a graduate level internship placement and provide supervision. Several of our former interns continue to work full-time with CAFCA after their placement ends. Please, send us your resume to be considered for an internship.
