Job Description

Benefits/Perks Competitive Compensations Career Advancement Opportunities Great Work Environment We are seeking an outgoing and experienced Licensed Counselor to join our team! As a Counselor, your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our Clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, family, and group therapy using play-based and developmentally appropriate modalities Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Utilize evidence-based play therapy techniques including Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Theraplay, and sand tray as appropriate Collaborate with ABA team, Direct Support Professionals, and community providers to ensure coordinated care Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with NC state standards and Medicaid requirements Provide parent/caregiver coaching and psychoeducation as part of the treatment process Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development Complete risk ass Communicate with parents
Qualifications :
Registered Play Therapist (RPT) or working toward certification Experience with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities EMDR training or interest in trauma modalities Familiarity with NC Medicaid / Tailored Plans Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Highly organized and responsible Excellent communication skills First-aid and CPR-certified Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including hiking, running, and carrying equipment
