Company Overview Restore Life Behavioral Health is an outpatient mental health facility dedicated to providing comprehensive therapy services, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy. Our mission is to support mental wellness and foster healing within our community. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality mental health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, to diverse populations. You will utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis to support clients' mental health journeys. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during emergencies. Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination, medical documentation, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant medical records. Deliver specialized counseling services for populations with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, grief issues, addiction challenges, and gender-related concerns. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote patient care while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Collect data for clinical research projects and maintain accurate documentation of medical terminology and CPT coding for billing purposes. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law. Have at least an Associate License. Proven experience in outpatient or inpatient mental health settings with familiarity in mental health environments preferred. Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychopharmacology, behavior management, and crisis management techniques. Expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples therapy. Proficiency in ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical documentation standards, and electronic health records systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds using motivational interviewing and Christian counseling approaches if applicable. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while demonstrating empathy and active listening skills.
