Job Description

Header Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans that foster positive outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Deliver specialized services including crisis intervention, grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and behavior management for patients across outpatient and inpatient settings. Facilitate intake assessments via telehealth or in-person visits while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining meticulous medical documentation. Develop tailored treatment plans based on patient needs, incorporating medical terminology and behavioral health best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Utilize ICD coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses and treatment procedures; participate in clinical research or data collection efforts to improve service quality. Skills Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Strong experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, and patients with chronic pain or complex mental health needs. Skilled in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies to effectively de-escalate emergencies. Knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes. Excellent communication skills for conducting intake interviews, patient assessments, and delivering psychoeducation. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience with hospital environments is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote mental health services while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Experience providing specialized counseling such as addiction treatment, gender issues counseling, grief support, or working within special education contexts. $67,552.24 - $81,353.24 per year
