Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Master's Level Clinician to join our dynamic substance use disorder and mental health teams. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to diverse populations, adults, and individuals with varying degrees of functional impairment. Your expertise will support clients through psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based treatments across outpatient and inpatient settings, including telehealth platforms. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis management protocols to de-escalate situations involving trauma, PTSD, grief, or behavioral crises across various settings including inpatient units and outpatient clinics. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and support behavior change efforts. Provide specialized counseling for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), chronic pain conditions, or gender issues counseling. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards; ensure timely submission of clinical notes using CPT coding for billing purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, psychiatrists, educators, and medical staff—to coordinate case management services and optimize patient outcomes. Participate in clinical research initiatives or data collection efforts aimed at advancing behavioral health practices. Offer telehealth services utilizing secure platforms to expand access to care for remote or underserved populations. Experience Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling Psychology or related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential is preferred; relevant supervised experience is required for licensure eligibility. Proven experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient or inpatient settings; familiarity with pediatric mental health issues is highly desirable. Hands-on experience delivering psychotherapy modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, or addiction counseling. Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively within a clinical environment; experience with trauma-informed care is advantageous. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems is essential. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Telehealth experience preferred but not required; ability to adapt clinical skills for virtual platforms while maintaining confidentiality and engagement.
