Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Provide direct clinical assessment, counseling, and treatment services to individuals with substance use disorders using evidence-based practices. Supervise and support clinical staff by reviewing cases, providing clinical consultation, developing specialized intervention skills, and ensuring compliance with agency policies, licensing requirements, and professional standards. Monitor staff performance for accuracy, quality, and timeliness; conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and professional development. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to coordinate client care and promote positive treatment outcomes. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and their families in person and by telephone, as needed. Conduct random urine drug screenings in accordance with agency policies and established protocols. Provide clinical supervision to counselors pursuing Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure, when qualified and approved. Prepare reports, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and provide expert testimony in court proceedings when required. Develop program goals, policies, procedures, and treatment initiatives that support effective addiction recovery services and continuous quality improvement. Participate in community outreach, prevention, and education activities to promote awareness of substance use prevention and available treatment services. Ensure services are delivered in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policies.

Compensation:
The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The maximum salary for the Professional Counselor 5 is $ 92,102.00 annually. Note regarding the advertised pay range : The advertised maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title/level over their career, and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
