JeffCare is a Federally Qualified Health Center offering primary care and behavioral health from two sites in Metairie and Marrero. JeffCare is a program of Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority. This position is located in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area in Marrero, LA. Compensation, Benefits & More No on-call or weekend work Competitive salary- based on experience Insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Flexible work schedule Retirement Student loan debt repayment Continuing education opportunities Free, nearby parking Filtered water stations Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans Deliver individual therapy and group therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other behavioral interventions Provide crisis intervention for patients in distress Collaborate on cases involving anxiety, depression, and/or developmental disabilities Maintain Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Electronic Health Record (EHR) Qualifications & Skills Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana Experience with children, adolescent, and teen populations (5-17 years old) or outpatient therapy preferred Skilled in CBT and crisis management Positive, proactive, and solution-focused Adaptable communication skills and ability to interact effectively at different levels with different audiences Cultural competence and ability to treat all with dignity and respect Contact Put your skills to work for the greater good.
