Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and highly skilled fully licensed LPC to join our growing behavioral health practice. The ideal candidate is experienced in working with young children and families and is passionate about helping children develop emotional regulation, behavioral coping skills, and healthy family dynamics through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Responsibilities Provide individual counseling services for children ages 3-10 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and behavioral interventions Provide Parent Management Training (PMT) to support treatment goals at home Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with providers, families, schools, and care teams when appropriate Participate in case consultations, team collaboration, and continuing education opportunities provided by the practice Qualifications Active and unrestricted Louisiana LPC license required Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically ages 3-10 Strong background and some experience utilizing CBT and other behavioral therapies with young children as well as PMT (or Behavioral Parent Training) with parents to support treatment goals at home Experience and/or training in child EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) are a plus but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment We are not accepting applications from LPC candidates requiring supervision at this time What We Offer Supportive and collaborative practice culture Practice-provided continuing education opportunities Administrative support Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families We are looking for a clinician who is dedicated to clinical excellence, continued professional growth, and providing compassionate care to children and their families.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
