Clinician Flexible Support Services 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 17 Brewster Court, Northampton, MA 01060 $58,240 - $64,480 a year - Full-time Cutchins Programs for Children and Families, Inc. 28 reviews $58,240 - $64,480 a year - Full-time Clinician, Flexible Support Services Position Summary Responsible for providing therapeutic services to individual clients and families enrolled in the Flexible Support Services program of the Department of Mental Health. Provide supervision and clinical oversight to the program and team members. The Flex team is a small collaborative team, run through the outpatient clinic. Responsible for working collaboratively to provide the clinical service component as part of the Flexible Support Services team (client/family directed, parent and young adult peer supports, and other therapeutic supports), in close coordination with other team members. Services are provided in the home and community. Essential Position Functions 1. Provides comprehensive initial, ongoing, and specialized clinical assessment and treatment including individual, family, and group therapy services to assigned caseload as needed. 2. Provides case consultation and management services, including collateral contact, for clients and families served (through face-to-face, phone, email, classroom observation, or other technologically appropriate methods with all appropriate prior approvals and HIPPA compliance such as encrypted Zoom). Provide needed transportation to Clients as clinical needs dictate. Regularly communicate with all involved parties and attend related case conference meetings (involved teams, providers, school, state agencies, and other supports). 3. Co-creates Community Service Plans and Individualized Treatment Plans for all assigned cases, regularly maintains all required clinical records in Credible, and other paperwork in a timely manner including: initial community service or treatment plan, crisis support and safety plans progress notes, quarterly reports, and discharge summaries and other records as required by the agency and the Department of Mental Health. Complete monthly program billing in Excel for submission to the state. 4. Conducts intake evaluations as assigned, which includes the initial and ongoing assessment of client risk (including self-harm/suicide), risk and need of mandated reporting suspicions of abuse/neglect to the Department of Children and Families. Provide court testimony as required. Co-create and regularly updates crisis support and safety plans with clients, families and teams. 5. Attend and facilitate regularly scheduled individual clinical supervision with team members; present and participate in case conferences for review. Attend and facilitate (with supervisor) monthly DMH Utilization Review meetings. Facilitates weekly group supervision with Flexible Support Teams. Maintain a positive and strengths-based view of clients and families to set tone for team. 6. Facilitates strong relationships with outside providers, including but not limited to DMH Case Managers and supervisors, community Clinicians and psychiatrists, Educational and vocational providers as relevant as well as providers of resources enrolled clients may benefit from receiving. Refers for outside services such as individual treatment, group treatment and medication consultation as needed. 7.Participates in shared on call rotation with Flexible Support Service Team, which provide 24-hour support to families as needed, on weekdays and weekends. 8. Maintains licensure (as needed) and relevant requirements and keep on file with agency. Follows guidelines of licensing board. 9. Adheres to Cutchins Programs for Children and Families Rules, Standards, and Ethics Policy. 10. Adheres to Cutchins Programs for Children and Families Privacy and Human Rights policy and procedures. 11. Uses Cutchins Program's electronic medical record documentation system. Minimum Requirements for the
Position Degree:
M.S.W , M.Ed, Ed. D. Ph.D., Psy.

D or similar degree License /
Certification:
LICSW or LMHC preferred
Years and Type of Experience:
Preferred 2 years post graduate experience with at least one year directly working with youth who have experienced serious emotional disturbance or other mental health and emotional challenges to well-being.
Other Skills or Requirements:
  • High quality clinical skills including qualifications for working with youth and families with serious emotional disturbance and trauma and attachment-related needs and goals
  • Excellent verbal, active listening and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate collaborative, strength and evidence-based approaches
  • Must demonstrate cultural and linguistic competence
  • Must be competent in computer skills
  • Must maintain a driver's license and transportation
Physical Requirements :
visual acuity to written and computer screen data, manual coordination and dexterity in the operation of office equipment, and ability to drive a car with an active drivers license in good standing.
Pay:
$58,240.00 - $64,480.00 per year
