Job Description

Arbor Associates Mental Health Clinician Pittsfield, MA Apply Arbor Associates is seeking a mission-driven Clinician to support adults in a DMH-funded Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program. This is a hands-on, community-based role where you\'ll be part of an Integrated Care Team helping individuals build skills, stabilize, and move toward independent living. What You\'ll Be Doing You\'ll play a key role in both direct clinical care and team leadership, supporting individuals through meaningful recovery and transition planning.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Provide short-term individual and group counseling services
  • Lead comprehensive assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans
  • Participate in clinical, intake, discharge, and transition meetings (ACCS, DMH, BH CP)
  • Support individuals through life transitions with clear, actionable care plans
  • Complete all required clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, reviews, referrals)
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop crisis and safety plans
  • Meet with new referrals within 72 hours to assess needs and risk
  • Support housing stabilization through a Housing First approach
  • Utilize evaluation tools (MORs, Self-Sufficiency Matrix, SBIRT, etc.)
  • Provide clinical guidance to Integrated Team and GLE staff
  • Facilitate clinical trainings and support staff development
  • Administer and audit medications as needed (MAP protocol) What Success Looks Like

  • Documentation is timely, accurate, and audit-ready
  • Clinical decisions are thoughtful, risk-aware, and person-centered
  • Strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
  • You bring consistency, accountability, and a solutions-focused mindset Job Requirements What You Bring
  • Master\'s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related clinical field (required)
  • Licensure preferred: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, OT, or RN
  • Experience with the Recovery Model and community-based care
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and care coordination
  • Ability to manage documentation and multiple priorities effectively
  • Confident communication skills
  • both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver\'s license and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Flexibility to support program needs, including one weekend day as needed
