Job Description:
Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is the largest provider of behavioral health services in Western Massachusetts and a Certified Great Place to Work. In Springfield, you'll gain hands-on experience while receiving top-notch training, supervision, and mentorship.
What You'll Do:
As an Intern you'll work in a dynamic outpatient environment providing individual, family, couple, and group therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and provide evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training Develop collaborative treatment plans and measure progress toward client goals Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and continuing education Provide care in various settings, including in-person, telehealth, and outreach within the community Learn about and implement evidence-based practices while delivering client-centered services

What You'll Bring:
Interest in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or mental health field (required) Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults (preferred) Familiarity with PC/Windows computers, Microsoft Office programs, and email systems (required) Willingness to work on-site in Springfield at least 20% of the time (required) Team-based and goal-directed approach to client care (preferred) Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (preferred) We Hire for Purpose!
