Provide individual and small group counseling to students. Provide therapeutic support within the therapeutic classroom and community settings.
Provide case management and collaboration to and with families, outside therapists and agencies across school and home environments.
Provide consultation to staff to develop and implement classroom strategies and to integrate therapy and other forms of effective therapeutic assistance into other disciplines.
Participate in Deeper Learning and Collaborative Problem-Solving programming.
Write professional reports, develop Individual Education Programs (IEP), maintain data collection, and employ research-based best practice strategies to demonstrate student progress and adjust student goals.
Recognize the need for and provide assistance to students in an appropriately active milieu setting.
Work with expert consultants to identify and/or develop effective support systems for students and families.
Participation in a mentor program that focuses on Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS), Social Communication Emotional Regulation Transactional Supports (SCERTS), Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS) and Deeper Learning approaches.
Willingness to offer training to staff or other community members on topics of interest.
Remain knowledgeable regarding Abuse and Neglect Reporting as a member of the SCEC team and provide training to staff.
Other duties as required.
