Intensive Home Base Therapeutic Care (IHBTC) In-Home Clinician Community Based - Waltham Join Wayside Youth & Family Support Network as a clinician for the Intensive Home Base Therapeutic Care Program (IHBTC program). This is an established community-based treatment model funded by the Department of Mental Health to serve youth and families. This provides innovative, evidence-based treatment to those who have faced high utilization of therapeutic services and need a robust team to support their array of needs. We seek flexible professionals with experience in working with youth and families facing crises and complexity. This is a clinical position and due to contract obligations requires a completed master's degree in mental health counseling, social work or related field.
Salary Range:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00/year + $2000 sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).
What you will do:
Work as part of a strong, collaborative, multidisciplinary team with the youth, young adults, caregivers and providers to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care. Conduct individual and family counseling using trauma informed and culturally responsive interventions for youth and their families. Encourage youth to have an active voice in their treatment. Assist caregivers in navigating systems, to promote their awareness of resources and access to supports. Empower caregivers with skills and strategies to support their child's behavioral health needs. Create care plans and interventions to support skill-based growth for clients. Promote and strengthen family's natural supports to foster a welcoming and supportive community for the youth. Ensure that client's rights are respected, particularly in regard to cultural competency. Collaborate with other community-based organizations to provide services and care for clients. Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule.

Requirements:
Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field required. Experience of at least a year of working with youth and families within the mental health systems is highly desired. Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC); Trauma Informed Practice; Substance Use Intervention; Risk and Safety Assessment.
