The incoming stipend for 3 credits in graduate programming is $5,321.73 - $6,141.27 depending on faculty rank. Adjunct Position(s) in MA Counseling -
Law Enforcement & Mental Health Co-Response Concentration General Statement of Duties:
The Psychology Department at Westfield State University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach classes in the new MA Counseling Concentration in Law Enforcement and Mental Health Co-Response, with courses starting September 2026. Candidates who are also qualified to teach one or more of the following are encouraged to apply: Mental Disorder & Criminal Behavior; Mental Health and the Criminal Justice System; Rapid Assessment for Mental Health Counseling Co-Responders; Crisis Intervention for Mental Health Counseling Co-Responders; Substance Use Assessment & Intervention; other courses in the MA Counseling program.
Job Requirements:
Required qualifications include: At minimum, Master's Degree in Counseling or related field Preference for those with experience or expertise in law enforcement and mental health co-response, though relevant experience working with forensic populations will be considered Ability to teach one or more of the courses listed in the job responsibilities Teach evening courses in-person Preferred qualifications include: Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or in Criminal Justice ABD will be considered License-eligible in Massachusetts Experience teaching at the graduate level
