Family Time Team Leader - Community & Family Support Services 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Worcester, MA Full-time LUK, Inc. 44 reviews Full-time Full Time Fitchburg/Worcester The Family Time Team Lead is central to the coordination and delivery of services to youth and families involved with the Department of Children & Families (DCF). This position works with the youth and their non-custodial parent(s) to facilitate supervised Family Time at agency and community locations using a trauma informed lens and a child centered approach in delivery of the service. The primary goal of this position is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of youth in DCF care during supervised visits, while maintaining respect and dignity for participants. The Family Time Team Lead works closely with State Agency Service Coordinators and Social Workers to meet the needs of participants, ensure problems or concerns are promptly addressed, and maintain a clear line of communication for scheduling and staffing needs. The Family Time Team Lead will also be required to provide supervision and training to other staff, ensuring schedules, billing, and observation procedures are carried out promptly and in accordance with LUK policy. The Family Time Lead reports to the Coordinator of Family Time Supervised Visitation Services. The qualified candidate must demonstrate an understanding of or readiness to learn trauma informed care. This position must demonstrate an understanding of impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on family systems; substance use or addiction; mental health and trauma; cultural identity; gender identity; high risk behaviors and the impact of collateral trauma and marginalization. Candidate must be able to work with adults and children, with a focus on family bonding. Strong relationship-building skills required. Excellent communication and computer skills required. Valid driver's license, reliable and safe transportation required. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field. In lieu of a degree, candidate will have five years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and at-risk youth in a human services capacity. Excellent communication and computer skills required. This is a full-time position located in Central Massachusetts and will include community-based travel and implementation.
